In the post match press conference, Mark Hughes said, “It was certainly a better performance from the boys. It would have been wonderful to walk away with a win, but, unfortunately, we didn’t manage to do so.”

“The body language of the players was fantastic. They gave their 100%, but, we should also give due credit to the opposing team. Everton is a very strong side and they have got some high quality defenders. Overall, I am quite happy with the performance of the boys today.”

The Rangers made a fantastic start to the match and managed to take the lead in the 2nd minute of the match. Junior Hoilett was the one who took QPR ahead in the match. But, the scores got levelled when Julio Cesar scored an own goal in the 33rd minute.
