Welsh rugby gets a fresh boost as Alun Wyn Jones has committed to staying on at Ospreys by opting to sign a fresh dual contract at the national level as well as with the club. His teammates of the region, Dan Biggar and Rhys Webb would be leaving regional ruby by the summer of 2018 but he has decided to continue to stay here to play the 14th campaign with his native region.
He is a celebrated second row player who penned a dual deal first in March 2015 after which he re-signed the contract in 2016. The Ospreys and Welsh Rugby Union have also invested in this 32 year old player to come up with an individual program for him that would enable his welfare as well as workload to be managed. With a World Cup coming up, all concerned are making sure that this 116 cap player has the best opportunities that will ensure that he can perform his best when the biggest stage of the game comes up.
